Orthopedic Surgery Case Reports Journal accepts submissions in a wide range of scholarly formats, including case reports, case series, clinical images, research articles, editorials, and review articles focused on orthopedics and musculoskeletal medicine. We welcome manuscripts that meet our broad criteria of clinical relevance, novelty, and scientific excellence. Authors are encouraged to submit high-quality work that contributes to improved understanding, diagnosis, or management of orthopedic conditions.
Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts through the Online Manuscript Submission Portal or via email at: editor@orthosurgerycasereports.org.
Manuscript Preparation Process for Publication
Step 1: Upon submission, the author will receive an acknowledgment email confirming receipt of the manuscript, along with a unique tracking number to monitor the processing status through the online portal.
Step 2: The manuscript will be screened and organized according to the journal’s required structure, including: Title Page, Author Affiliation, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Case Presentation / Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, References, Tables and Figures. If any mandatory sections are missing, authors will be requested to complete the manuscript before further processing.
Step 3: A plagiarism check is performed using Turnitin. The journal accepts manuscripts with a similarity index below 10%, excluding references and standard phrases. Submissions exceeding this level will be returned to authors for correction and resubmission.
Step 4: The manuscript undergoes a double-blinded peer review by experts in orthopedic surgery and related specialties. Reviewers assess the manuscript for clinical merit, novelty, scientific accuracy, and contribution to orthopedic knowledge. Authors may be asked to revise the manuscript based on reviewer comments.
Step 5: If the manuscript is accepted, authors will be notified of the editorial decision within 5 to 10 days.
Step 6: Following acceptance, authors are required to pay the standard article processing charges (APC) as per journal policy.
Step 7: After final formatting and proofing, the manuscript is published online, making it accessible to the orthopedic community and enhancing its global visibility.
Article Processing Charges (APC): All accepted manuscripts for our inaugural issue will be published free of charge.
