Join the Editorial Board - Orthopedic Surgery Case Reports Journal

Orthopedic Surgery Case Reports Journal editors will play a key role in the journal’s growth and reputation within the scientific community. The primary responsibility of an Editor is to manage and review submitted manuscripts.

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer-review process, with each submission reviewed by at least two experts in the field to ensure an unbiased evaluation.

Duties of Editors:

1) Editors should evaluate all submitted papers objectively, assessing each one on its own merits, without regard to race, religion, nationality, gender, seniority, or institutional affiliation of the author(s).

2) Editors must ensure that manuscripts are grammatically correct, consistent in style, readable, ethically sound, and free of plagiarism or scientific misconduct, maintaining the required scientific rigor of published articles.

3) Editors are responsible for selecting the most appropriate reviewers to ensure high-quality evaluation of manuscripts.

4) Manuscripts should be given careful consideration promptly. Acceptance or rejection is ultimately the editor’s decision. Manuscripts may be rejected without peer review if deemed unsuitable for the journal.

5) Editors and editorial team members must maintain confidentiality regarding any manuscript under consideration, sharing information only with those consulted for professional guidance.

6) Unpublished data or interpretations in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor’s own research without the author’s consent.

These general and ethical guidelines help ensure the publication of high-quality, scientifically rigorous research in orthopedic and trauma surgery.
